Question: We just bought a new home and noticed a small dirt mound, and a tube leading from it to the top of the foundation and into a crack in the bricks.  There are several small black ants around it as well.  Our home seller says that ants can build tubes into the house.  Is this true, or should we be very concerned about them being termites?

ANSWER  Ants do not build tubes….it would be good to investigate this
further.
