Cockroach Foggers

Foggers are a form of pest control that release mists of pesticides into the air. Although foggers are perceived as a powerful do-it-yourself pest control method, they do have drawbacks.

The chemicals present in foggers are fairly effective in killing exposed roaches and other pests, but usually do not penetrate into cracks and crevices where roaches hide. Fogging products can damage furniture and fabrics if not administered correctly. They also pose health risks to pets and humans. Furthermore, at high enough concentrations, such as those risked by incorrect placement within the home, the aerosol mist can be flammable.

If your cockroach infestation has reached a magnitude wherein fogging is necessary, it is best to contact a pest control professional to decide upon a safer, more effective treatment.
