Pacific Division Technical Services Manager
Pat is an entomologist with more than 40 years of pest control experience who provides technical support to pest control technicians in Orkin’s Pacific division. He was co-winner of the Entomological Society of America IPM Team award in 2010 and was selected as a winner of the 2013 Crown Leadership Award. He has appeared in Services magazine, Cleaning & Maintenance Management and Today in Food Manufacturing.
Ron Harrison, Ph.D.
Technical Services Director
Ron is an urban entomologist and former Mercer University professor of biological sciences. He provides technical support to Orkin’s pest control technicians and works with regulatory agencies, the academic community and others in the pest control industry. He has appeared on The Weather Channel and The History Channel and been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal and HGTV magazine.
Jim is an entomologist and former chief structural pest control regulator for the Georgia Department of Agriculture. Jim has extensive experience in regulatory compliance, certification and training. He spent more than thirty years in various regulatory positions with oversight of the pest control industry in Georgia.
Training Specialist II
Shane facilitates and designs training for Orkin personnel; performs pest identifications; and provides technical assistance to Orkin’s pest control technicians. In 1999, Shane received the University of North Carolina’s Harry Henry Johnson Award for excellence in biology and was named a distinguished university research scholar by UNC. Shane has appeared in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Technical Services Director
Kim provides technical support to Orkin’s pest control technicians. Kim has been a featured speaker at various seminars and conferences; has written articles for several magazines and journals; and is a contributing columnist to Pest Control Technology (PCT) magazine. She has appeared on WXIA-TV (NBC) Atlanta and in The Omaha World-Herald.
International Training and Technical Director
Frank is an entomologist who provides technical support to Orkin’s international locations. Frank has written articles for pest control industry trade magazines and has been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times and appeared on NBC-TV’s “Today” show, CNN and ABC News.
Southeast Division Service Manager
Matt works directly with Orkin’s Southeast branches to provide professional technical expertise and training on customer service and pest treatment approaches. Matt graduated from the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science in entomology and nematology. He has been interviewed by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Director of Quality Systems
Zia is an entomologist and acknowledged leader in the field of pest and pathogen control. Zia has studied urban, industrial and agricultural pests and has designed pest control programs in a number of countries. He has appeared in Food Safety magazine, Cleaning & Maintenance Management and Food Processing.
