Brown Recluse Spider Cancer

Necrotic wounds are often misdiagnosed as being the result of a brown recluse spider bite. These wounds might erroneously be referred to as brown recluse spider cancer.

Necrotic wounds may be caused by a variety of conditions or ailments ranging from bacterial infection, such as MRSA, to allergic reactions to chemical burns and even skin cancer. Misdiagnosis of skin irritation can lead to delays in appropriate treatment and can prove extremely harmful to affected patients. If a necrotic wound appears, it is advised that the person seek medical attention from a trained medical professional.
