Tarantula Baby

Fertile tarantula eggs are deposited and sealed inside silken egg sacs. Within six to nine weeks, immature tarantulas emerge from their egg sacs. Throughout the incubation, the female remains with her egg sacs and turns then periodically.

After their first molt, immature tarantulas venture out on their own. They molt about once per year and become mature in five to seven years.
