Orkin and NSF International Prep Foodservice Operators for Health Inspections
Orkin Commercial Services has partnered with NSF International to provide free educational resources to the foodservice industry. Each online tool equips business owners and operators in the fight against pests, while preparing them for health inspections.
A leading independent provider of food safety services, NSF International collaborated with Orkin on two Orkin University tools for foodservice providers – bringing a valuable third party perspective. The educational tools can be downloaded at www.orkincommercial.com under the “About Orkin” menu.

Orkin University tools certified by NSF help foodservice operators maintain best practices for sanitation, and prepare for health inspections:
- Before Your Next Health Inspection is available in English and Spanish and provides restaurant managers and employees with a task list to help them prepare for health inspections, or simply train employees in best food-safety practices.
- Sanitation and Storage Quiz is a tool to see how facilities rank in best practices for sanitation and storage. It’s a short 15-question quiz that can help managers improve sanitation measures.
