Spider vs. Scorpion Identification

Spiders and scorpions are considered to be two of the most fearsome animals. Both of these creatures are classified as arachnids along with mites, ticks, and opiliones. They also both have two body segments, including the cephalothorax and the abdomen, but these segments are their only resemblances.

Both arachnids develop in three stages, but their growth and development varies. Spiders go through the egg, the nymph, and adult. . In contrast, scorpions experience several molting stages.

Their behavior and habits are also different. Spiders have a wide range of lifestyle habits, including different methods for catching prey. Some spin webs and capture bees and butterflies, while others hunt on the ground and eat sowbugs and beetles. Scorpions, on the other hand, do not see well and are "passive hunters". . During the day, they hide in cool underground burrows or under rocks. At night, they come out to hunt and feed. They eat small arthropods and insects, and can only digest food in a liquid form.
