Cockroaches are pretty crafty. Like ninjas, they scale walls, can disappear in the blink of an eye and are fast – very fast. But when it comes to retreating or backing out of a situation, cockroaches can only move forward. Spines and hairs on their legs are great for climbing and scurrying forward, but they also hinder them from moving backwards.
