Supporting Our Neighbors
Commitment to Community
OrkinServes is an employee volunteer program designed to help take care of our communities. Each year, Orkin branches across the country set aside time specifically for giving back in their local areas. Since the program started, Orkin employees have donated hundreds of hours of volunteer service to residents and organizations in the U.S. We believe in people helping people and showing small acts of kindness for our customers and communities.

Helping Save Lives
Mosquitoes Don’t Deserve a Drop™
Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. At Orkin, we believe Mosquitoes Don’t Deserve a Drop™, which is why we proudly partner with the American Red Cross® to help save lives. Since 2020, Orkin has donated over $1.1 million to the American Red Cross® during mosquito season and has encouraged the public to roll up their sleeves at blood drives across the U.S.
Hospitals rely on consistent donations through organizations like the American Red Cross® to treat everything from trauma to chronic illness — but only 3% of age-eligible people donate. Each donation can help save the lives of up to three people. Consider donating blood today!
Our goal is two-fold: to help boost our country’s blood supply while protecting people against the public health threats of mosquitoes.
Creating Education That Matters
Protecting Public Health at Home
Orkin’s longstanding partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has fostered multiple public health and educational initiatives involving pest-related health risks. Orkin and the CDC have collaborated to produce educational materials like the hidden home threats checklist to help consumers prevent pest-related diseases in and around the home, as well as the Guide to Dangerous Pests brochure. We have also partnered on annual “Train the Trainers” broadcasts, where CDC specialists educate hundreds of Orkin pest control Pros across the country on pest-related diseases. Find pest-specific disease information from the CDC in Orkin’s Pest Library.
