Do termites feed on treated wood?

Question: Will termites eat or infest treated wood? Is it OK to have treated wood supporting floor joists that contact the ground? Will having treated wood lessen your warranty?

Answer: They will not feed on treated wood, but it would be best not to place this wood directly on the ground.
